"Peasant woman's vestment"

Among all the vestments this is the most attractive due to the predominance of the red colour and the richness of its embroideries in a perfect combination the black colour. It is the most desired vestment. It's only used in special occasions. The red apron, weaved at the weaver's loom, has floral themes, geometrical or heraldic drawings. The kerchief, in yellow and red shades, is tied at the top of the head with its extremities withdrawn. The neck cloth is made in the same shades and drawings of the kerchief. It's placed on the shoulders and adjust above the chest. The vest is made according to one's personal taste but there's obviously a connection to the themes shown on the apron. The shirt is made of white linen and it's embroidered in blue. The pocket they wear is embroidered with the same themes as the vest. The socks are hand made in white cotton. The slippers are plane and black. The skirt is made of red wool with longitudinal black and white stripes and a black doubling. Women wear some gold around their necks and earrings.
